Hello all.
Well this is my first post on this forum, this is because I've just collected my my2012 factory kit RRS in white, it was a very special day for both myself and my business partner who picked the same in black!
Having come from the Merc enthusiast MBClub forms which I've had the pleasure of meeting guys at various events and sharing info and tech tips etc. which I'm looking for here too.
I will post some pics next week, look forward to reading your posts and post sale advise on things like car care, upgrades, tech knowledge and the like.

I'm thinking of buying a secondhand one, so doing some research into what to look out for running cost.

How hard are they to work on?

I currently own a Subaru impreza classic turbo 2000, I have 2 kids and a wife who wants a bigger car!

I'm new and I'm exploring the possibility of RRS ownership.

My company car goes back to the lease firm in October and I'm planning on buying a MY10 TDV6 HSE.
The facelifted interior does it for me

I'll be reading up as many threads as I can, whilst trying to save as many pennies as I can!

Currently wishing for prices to plummet, but once I've got one I'll be wanting them to stabilise!

Been reading this forum for a few weeks to get buying info and now that I have made a purchase I have signed up as a member.

I work in Switzerland and as the missus has moved out with me (and our dog) I’ve sadly had to sell the Audi RS4.

The initial plan was to get a 4x4 for her, but as time has moved on I decided to go for a Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE – 2008

Bought my 2009 RRS HSE on Fri 13 Apr and joined this forum soon after. Now always looking for excuses to jump in it and drive off somewhere. Living in London, I was doing only 4k-5k miles per year on my previous car. Can easily see that at least doubling up even though I am continuing to take the tube to work . I was never interested in offroading before but now that I have a highly capable car, itching to try it once I have put mud flaps on it.

Great work contributing members, for making such useful info available on this forum. Upon reading several posts, realised how common the spare wheel theft was, after mine got nicked, probably from a car park at some point during the first 6 days after purchase. A superstitious person might try to find a connection between the incident and the purchase day/date but not me . Yes, I have ordered the LRD spare wheel protector already!
