I know the 2012 model is programmed to have the front lights on and with a second press of the button you can switch the reverse lights on Not sure about the 2008 model though, Why |

Well I was just surprised as many of my friends have older cars i.e bmw's and mercs and front and rear lights go on... |

Can be done, but only by someone with the right kit (wiggs did my D3)

it's frustrating as the manual (Yes I did read it ) says that it can switch the rears on by pressing twice but I've never got it to do that and when I spoke to my dealer they had never heard of it.
