I think he is talking bo11ocks to be honest it all depends on how the vehicle has being treat, there has been problems with low mileage motors aswel as high mileage ones, nothing specific has gone wrong with any of them, there isn't a pattern emerging when they get to a certain mileage, if looked after serviced right warmed up and cooled down correctly then i'm sure they will be fine, but the problem you have is that you don't know how its been treated previously. |

Character on Disco3 had done over 500k last time I checked.. with a new gearbox and torque converter being the only repairs

make sure you test the hi/low box as lots of owners never engage low which can lead to problems
