2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

Slight steering wobble - anyone know the TSB details?

As well as the Anti Roll Bar bush problem, our car was booked in for a slight wheel wobble at 65-70 mph. It was slight as my other half couldn't detect it but I knew it was there.
Fair play to the dealer who have detected it and have told me that there is a TSB for it. Does anyone know the details before I mention the course of action?

I believe that the TSB number is LTB00316v2.

Does anyone have access to this please?

The garage have ordered a new steering rack that will be fitted tomorrow as detailed within the TSB.
Surprised though that the rack is faulty as the car has only done 18k.

2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Is this on recent cars,mine has developed an intermittent wheel shimmy which turns into a violent shudder under hard braking but not all the time which is weird.
Thought it was a weight off the wheel but Quick Fit refused to check the balance! MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

No thats another issue - go to your dealers and they should replace your brakes (definitely pads and discs but i recall something else) Mike

The dealers have fitted a new steering rack and were setting the 4 wheel alignment before taking it for a test drive. If this hasn't cured it then stage 3 of the fix is a new steering wheel.
In any event, I will be collecting the car tomorrow and the slight wobble will be history.

I must say, so far, the dealers have been top notch and I can't fault them. Really impressed LPR.

I have been unable to get crapstone to sort this - they will not admit the problem exists on mine
