42MPG?!?!?!?!?!?!

Never thought I'd see this but after changing to the spare tyre due to a puncture and setting the cruise control to 50mph max as indicated on the spare, I saw this after a 30 mile run home.

Dont worry, I'm back down to my usual 23mpg indicated. Laughing

Edit:- Should have said I did have to cheat a wee bit by manually selecting 6th gear but still surprised at that number, even if it's not all that accurate.

Andorra 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Not surprising.... I had to do a 150 mie run home last weekend on the spare .... I didn't check the mpg but I do know I had a whole lot more than the vapour I usually have at the end of my 350 mile round trip .....and drove around for the next three days before having to fill up..... rather than the very next morning..... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Will be filling up there for playing in the Pyrenees but not for crossing Med to Tunis, €0.45 there. Whistle

Have you found any difference using the good stuff compared with standard diesel? I found it was better as the car was struggling at altitude on standard diesel.

I've only used the Excellium (premium) from new.... so I couldn't tell you....
Has been running very sweetly...
The only problem i've had but I don't think it's a diesel problem is....
On the ocasional time i've left the car out in the cold overnight.... when I start up in the morning I just don't get ANY power whatsoever.... it just crawls if i'm lucky.......Not good!!
Works fine after about a minute of warming up .... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Lots of similar issues D3side through the cold snap earlier in the year. Some dodgy local diesel in ski resorts (affects other makes), some issues with ice in the intercooler (LR issue), some glow plug issues, lots no idea why. Sad
