Interesting price difference

I am looking to buy a new RRS so have been looking at RRS in showrooms/internet. Get the registration number and put it into Webuyanycar.com and the difference in price is unbelievable. But it does show how much you should start your offer at or how much you can expect to loose very quickly.

Lol, WBAC are no representation of the value of a car, it just proves what rip off merchants they are, basically they sell on to dealers etc , so yes you might get an idea of how much the dealer might have paid, but any dealer will laugh at you if you start with knocking 5k off the window price!!
Cheers

The biggest chunk that you loose is the 20% that you pay in VAT!

We buy any car, are the automotive equivalent of the pawn brokers that will give you £3.50 and a tea bag for your grandads Victoria Cross so you can buy your next bottle of vodka.

I class them in the same bracket as early pay day loans, we buy your gold, blah blah blah.

Depreciation may be steep, but keep in mind its only a paper loss until you actually sell the car or trade in. Enjoy the car for what it is, and unless worrying about the depreciation and how much that would mean to your loved ones you leave behind is going to make you ill, or its something you think you will regret on your deathbed, then to hell with it - enjoy life. Blink and you miss it. RRS 3.0D HSE 11MY - Fuji White, a few extras.

I believe all of WBAC cars go through British Car Auctions under the UK Car Group name, so they must pay well below CAP trade to see a profit. Probably based on the volume of cars they buy and sell!

Directors of We Buy Any Car, are also directors of several other motor vehicle related companies, including those that sell cars in a supermarket style. So they will of course retail the ones they can turn a profit on quickly, and the others will no doubt end up in an auction. RRS 3.0D HSE 11MY - Fuji White, a few extras.

Dear moi7i

I just purchased a Range Rover Sport 2012 MY Autobiography with the following spec:

Summatra Black with black and ivory leather and black wood trim
Factory extras:
- Sunroof
- Dual View Front Screen
- Full size spare wheel
- Lugagge rentention net

List 68,225 + the price of the 20" spare wheel which i have added subsequently

I took delivery Friday 20th of January and have driven leads than 1000 miles. We part exchanged our RR partly because my wife wanted a smaller car but we have now realised that with 3 kids the RRS is simply too small so i will be selling it again. If interested you can pm me.

That's what I was wondering, but am too polite to ask! Laughing

@clorenzen, it would be interesting to hear what "we buy AC " would offer, bet it is at least 10k less than you paid! I would think that if you went back to your friendly LR dealer and explained the situation you would get a fair chunk back IF you were trading back to an FFRR or other LR product, if not you are stuffed!
Cheers

They are not that big - but nobody wants the middle seat which was never a problem in the RR.
