Nick, I have heard of some weird attachments to a caravan but a CONSERVATORY???????????????????????? must be a bit of a test setting up and taking down all the PVCu and glass every time you move the 'van |

I regularly get 19mph towing twin axle Bailey Pegasus 1660kg laden weight on Cornwall runs but with south westerly blowing me back increases that to around 21 ish. We have no motorways in this southern area of Hampshire/Dorset, only hilly "A"roads along the coast so not bad I reckon.

I have just done appx 400 miles over the Easter break and got circa 20mpg, to be fair, this is alright, towing a 1800 kg laden van with EVERYTHING packed in it + Famliy is decent. The car is an excellent tow car, much steadier than my old 300C, but, as much as i hate to say it, it lacks some of the power that I am used to, and no doubt the V8 boys will have their say here......... Ii am sure a remap would help but before i do i going to sort the cam belt service... |

Huh? What's that about? Not really ever likely to go there with the caravan I don't think but interested to know more. Gordon Kerr Bedford, UK 2007 Java Black RR Sport TDv6 1980 Brooklands Green Triumph TR7 |

Did 23mpg going up to Northumberland(200 miles) recently towing 2011 Elddis Super Crusader fully loaded with 4 mountain bikes, bike rack, dog, kids and everything else bar the kitchen sink. worst was probably about 18mpg down to Cornwall. It helps a lot sitting in behind lorries. 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6
