Just thought I would check if the ACC system is what I hoped it would be in that the car would slow to a stop if the car in front did so also or was going much slower.

It does not stopp the vehicle. It will slow it down to match the speed of the vehicle in front. It will not go below 15mph.

I did the LR experience day and it was demonstrated , and I had a go too, that the car will do all of the above.

Yes, but it still only has authority up to 0.6g...the ABS will kick in if the 0.6g - or less - produces wheel lock through poor grip caused by water/mud/whatever. 2011 RRS HSE 3.0V6 2011 Freelander HSE 2.2d Auto Gone...2010 RRS V8 HSE |
