I removed the non working headlight and checked all the internal wiring (accessable via the sidelight access hole) to find they were cross matched

Well I've just corrected my squint/lazy eye!

Sat in the garden in the glorious sunshine, heat gun, screwdriver and trusty 2 pack adhesive.

Got the two halves split, mixed the 2 pack, left it for a few mins to get really tacky, then re-stuck the LED that had gone AWOL.

Then thought I'd leave it to set for 10 mins so nipped in for a cuppa.

On my return I found a queen wasp had set up camp inside the headlight, great! So then had to remove the inner fixings to coax out the very dosile wasp and also check for any other wildlife!

Anyway... All done now so seeing if plan B adhesive holds! RRS gone

So I've just been outside and yes you're right, the nearside ring is ever so lsightly larger then the offside ring
