They're great days aren't they. I took a 300 mile MY12 RRS out at Luton Hoo in December, fantastic fun, amazingly capable too on M&S tyres.

Can't comment on Rockingham, but Luton Hoo was very good.

That's interesting. I had thought of doing 'sole occupancy' for a day. Perhaps a half day would be better then?

The courses aren't massive so you end up going around them quite a few times (not that that's a bad thing).

It's more of a "get to know the capabilities" thing for me really.

I'd say half a day on your own then would be ample

@ SS - shame you didn't go in the woods, but still a great place, 'the bowl' and 'pilots view' were particular favourites of ours. We drove that car a few days after they took delivery. The e-diff is very clever, although not something I'd spec on my own car ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I found Luton Hoo very sterile. Not helped that it hadn't been open long and wasn't wet or muddy, mostly just concrete. The old South East centre was much better. I did go through the woods but only a small section of it.

@bc74, There were 2x Discos, 2x RRS, 1x defender and 1x Evoque together playing on the site, so it was rather busy!
