I was liking the look below with the colour coded inners but bit of a DIY job I would rather not undertake myself.

Is a tinted film over the lens legal?
Besides, things like that are for the Saxo boy racers in my opinion

I like the colour coded inners, no too sure about the tint film tho
Think I would have to see it in real life to judge.

I heard it was very good a few years back when I was looking at doing something along those lines to the rear lights

A subtle tint might look good

The trouble with tints it they take away the efficiency, and with headlights I'd like as much efficiency as possible..

i use it on mine as i said earlier sherlock and i have a fairly light smoke on mine.

its just enough to know they are tinted and i havent noticed any difference in beam projection etc.

when i looked at it, it was for my rear lights on my first FL2 which was grey, I was going to go light smoke just to dull them down slightly, unfortunately they didn't do the size i needed

but i think i have a 10% discount code somewhere in my PM inbox

I might try it as I can always remove it if no good.

Interesting point

I'm not going to colour coordinate the chrome effect reflector surrounds immediately next to the xenon bulbs though, just the grey plastic bits.
