yeah the Saab 1.9tid is averaging 38mpg at the moment (with a very heavy right foot in it) and the X5 3.0d is doing about 27mpg town driving, again quite rapid town driving..

Paying for fuel is one of the most depressing ways of watching your hard earned ( Laughing ) whizz away in a blur of digits!

Mrs ST uses RRS most of the time as it's an 80mile round commute for me each day.

We used to spend approx. £28 per week when she was commuting to work.

Now she doesn't work, and has the RRS to venture on shopping sprees with we are spending c. £75 pw

A whopping 168% increase! Monthly fuel bill has gone from £112 to £300!

That's excluding my Beemer! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

As you all may or may not know (ahem!), we'll be driving across Europe Aug/Sep so if you get a better idea of dates, I could possibly coincide the two! Very Happy Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Yep and not forgetting that bloke off of bm3w who totalled one of the school M3s Wink It's easily done apparently, parts of the circuit are very unforgiving.

I basically do nothing in August so a road trip to Germany could be fun - would have to run it past Mrs VA but she's alright at the moment, I've bought her some new shoes! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
