Warped discs. They was more than likely like it before but the fact u've had new pads fitted shows off the problem. I had the exact same problem.

^^^ Agree with Felstmiester, had exactly the same on my BM a few years ago, seemed the changing of the pads highlighted the warping more.
They may be able to skim them back into line if they're not that bad, else it'll be a new set. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I guess so as they were fitted by dealer (boy is that expensive)... Done just over a 1k miles since, as for warped discs Shocked It's a Supercharged, therefore it's brakes should cope with anything... No? And should of been spotted by dealer during change and service?? GONE** RRS 3.0SC Silver fully loaded Smile - 2020 110 loving it

Don't bet anything you can't afford to lose on that statement Rolling with laughter
Although the discs are on a S/C they could still warp unfortunately Sad ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Wokkaman, take the wheels off, check for any crud between the wheel & disk & then put them back on, tightening the nuts up in Opposite order. Starting at number 1, so go 1, 3, 5, 2, 4
Torque setting should be 140nm.

Sometimes you find if garages just tighten them in 1,2,3,4,5 order, the wheel doesn't sit quite straight and this can cause partyly your problem.

Regrding the disks 'warping' (taken from someone else who knows these things, not me) It is rare for a normal disk to warp, but if the brake dsks get hot, the brake pad can soemtimes stick to the disk, causing the same effect by the resiudue that is left on the disk. Alternatively, it can also be the disk getting very hot and cooling which changes the hardened properties of the disk and causes the juddering/wobble.

Any disc can warp. It just depends on driving style, wieght of motor, and another factor is a disc is more likely to warp if braking is hard and aggressive when it's cold. I had a 12 pot big break kit on an m5 I used to own, 5 laps of hard driving round brands hatch and they was warped to the extent that you could hardly hold the steering wheel under breaking. The m5 is a heavy car just as the rrs is heavy, they take a lot of slowing down hence more likely to warp discs.

Bodsy's on the money for me. Don't throw perfectly serviceable discs without checking pad transfer 1st. If you have high performance brakes and pads then you should bed them in when new not just use them.

felstmiester - there's a world of difference between road driving and a trackday. In my experience, you get nowhere near the limits on the road as you do on a circuit doing the same corners repeatedly from triple digit speeds every 2 mins or so...

Supercat. Yes totally agree with you. I was just stating that any disc can warp, even if it's designed for the job. The break kit I had on the M5 was specifically made for that car by tarox. The break kit alone is £6000 + for the front rotors rear rotors and calipers, they're huge!! They went through the proper bedding in process just like tarox advised but still failed when doing the job they was built to do.

In stark contrast to Felstmiester, disks on my mothers VW Polo warped @ 20k miles, believe me, that car barely goes above 40 mph Laughing ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

In all fairness to your mother, the older end do drive with their foot on the brake at all times Laughing
