Just looked at one of these very quickly in the local LR showroom. At £51k it isn't cheap but from the outside it does look well

What are everyone's thoughts on these? What is the base spec?

The Stormer is based on the SE plus the following:-

20" Stormer Alloys
Exterior Design Pack
Privacy Glass
Grand Black Lacquer
Paddle Shift
Stainless Steel Tread Plate

The car was available in either White or Black with black leather. Nice Looking car at the fraction of the price of an Autobiography.

I have just had a 61 plate black Stormer for the last 2 months whilst I awaited delivery of my 2012MY HSE which I took delivery of on New Years Eve .

The Stormer is a great looking car and I grew quite attached to it. It is however still an SE with a body kit although taste is individual.

Although I have only had my HSE for a couple of days, Orkney grey, black leather with contrast stitching and piano black trim, I much prefer it to the Stormer and as long as you can wait for delivery you can get between 7% and 9% discount at the moment which brings the HSE close to the price of a Stormer and I am sure it will have a better residual with the upgrades on the 2011 model let alone the difference between the SE and HSE spec's.

As I said above, for myself it is a no brainer but everyone is different, good luck with your deliberation.
