Strange then. I have had fault messages appear and, on turning off the engine and restarting they disappear. It appears to be a RRS thing... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Just wondering if its time for changing transfer and gearbox oils. I've changed both front and rear diff. oils, timing belt , also blanked off EGR in the summer. |

i had a problem like this years ago,not a range rover but auto.! problem seemed to be a faulty or sticky valve in the auto-box thats was ment to close when at high speeds on fast roads like motorways, but when around town fault went away as presure was not high or something so was ok.! was a costly job,if had it done but got rid of car.! my advice is do a fast run again and see if problem comes back.? if not then maybe just a glitch.!! |

Mark - have a read of some of the posts on the Disco site for stories about changing the oil and dropping the sump. Quite an involved process if you want to try and swap the oil 100% but obviously pays dividends for some. |
