It is from 2010 and mines a 2011, but im sure...you have to enable the option on the screen as the kit uses the fuel burner and the "extra" bit of kit you need is the remote and its associated module if you want to turn it on without a schedule - i dont.

But i couldnt find the option in the diagnostic tools, found many other things...just not that Mike

2 things - you might not have the option, but you have the capability, the option is what you have to enable via some form of LR diagnostic equipment - do you have the park fuel burner (front left of the engine) if not, the second point might be yours is too early in 2010.

Timed climate is only turning the fuel burner on to heat up the range rover before you start it, add in the remote module you can turn it on say from your house before you go out if you notice it is cold.

The fuel burner will run (if you have it fitted) to speed the heating process of the engine and car when cold (below 5 or 7 degrees i cant remember) its the remote start option that im enabling. We had it running by enabling it while the car was off under the diagnostic side, but i couldnt find the option to display the feature on the infotainment screen normally

Lots of post on here and the D3/4 forum - lots, but many people dont have the diagnostic equipment themselves so go to someone like Wiggs or BAS to have them do it...I have access to the equipment so in theory can do it myself if i knew where to look Mike

i thought everyone knew about this.

Right - this is the kit that heats the car

Then you need to get it enabled to control it:
(Borrowed from BAS D4.com)

and those i referenced above can do that if you dont have the tools to do it - do a search to find out more! a few hundred pounds will see you part of the way Mike
