Could it get any worse?

Well I thought I was having a bad week 2 weeks ago when a T**t nicked my spare wheel off my RRS. Then tonight a huge branch off the horse chestnut tree in my front garden came down in the wind hitting our house roof causing some tile damage and then hitting my wife's mini cooper s, smashing the panoramic roof, damaging the roof, huge dent in the bonnet and wing, as well as scratches across the roof, down the side and front bumper........ Hoping in the daylight there is no damage to my RRS

Anyone know a tree surgeon in the Essex area? RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings

Shocked Not a good night then Shocked

I hate the wind, ever since a roof panel of the conservatory blew out last year, i can't relax when it gets strong

At least the horse chestnuts will be easier to pick, get the oven on, pop a few in a bag and it will keep the missus warm till her roofs fix Whistle

I was up at the crack of dawn checking the RRS over and lucky enough, no damage Thumbs Up

As for the mini it's not looking good, I reckon a write off. The panoramic is smashed to pieces, 2 large bumps in the roof and loads of small ones as well as scratches.

The A pillar is smashed, wing mirror shot, 2 large bumps in the bonnet and the bumper has 2 large scrapes down and to top it off a handful of scratches down one side of the car.

I'm no insurance accessor or body shop but I reckon it's a big job, my mate at BMW tells me the panoramic roof is £2k alone.

All good with the insurance and it's booked it at Balgores Romford on Monday. Mrs is already talking about getting into a 118d msport if the mini is a total loss.

As or the house damage, that's also got the green light from the insurance and they are even covering taking the rest of the tree down as its a danger Smile

So not as bad as first feared.

Regarding the CCTV and the theft of my wheel, no news from the police yet since they told me they had secured the CCTV coverage and they were going to let me know if the act was captured. I'll chase the cozzers up on Monday RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings
