Thanks for your reply Mr H, but Yes, i have got it set at the logest setting, and the buttons do adjust properly as the indicator changes properly on the dash. Also the forward warning comes on very late when in slow traffic - about 10 feet away when on the longest setting?

My ACC sensor didn't work at all when I got my RRS. It's a very simple and easy job to get the bumper off to have a look at your sensor. It could be that it has moved on it's bracket (you wouldnt be able to tell this with the bumper on). If it turns out to be in the right position then it sounds like it's faulty, have a look on ebay, I picked up a new sensor for £220 and fitted it myself in 50 minutes including a test drive...landrover wanted £1,600 for new sensor and fitting, but then they also wanted £185 just to remove the bumper and have a look!!

Thanks Leigh, I might have a go at it today. My local dealer told me they wanted 3 hours to get the bumper off and on again?!! Is it that easy? I have little knowledge of mechanics but I am capable of working a screwdriver! As I said earlier, it is throwing a fault code, so would it do that if it was just a misalignment issue?

It really is as easy as those instructions, once the lights and grill are off its 6-8 screws along the top and bottom, one in each arch, unhook the arch and slide it off!

LeighG, thanks so much for your advice, I finally got round to having a go today, and it really is easy. Also took me about an hour to remove and refit! Only snag I had is that it took me about 10 minutes to get the first light out, as when you pull up the tabs, they actually come up too far, and you need to knock them back in a couple of mil to locate the hole over the pin correctly to get them off. (might help someone else if they are struggling!)

I love the ACC, I really do. There are a lot of... luddites... who insist that the RRS should have a traditional cruise control option too.

Would be nice to have the option to turn it on or off, but driving it today with a fully operational ACC was great. Brilliant on the motorway - if not to busy with people lane hoping into the gap the system leaves.. Range Rover Sport Supercharged
