The HSE model on RRS what does it stand for? I tried googling it quickly but couldn't find a straight answer

Keep in mind that all TDV8's are HSE spec, but not all HSE's are TDV8's.

Does that make sence? I think so.

My 07 TDV8 with 70k on the clock is fab to drive etc & (not wanting to tempt fate) the only probs have been a new battery just a week ago & the bushes on the front about 30k miles back. Beware the slight lag at a junction/roundabout between putting your foot down & the take off - sometimes annoying but if you're used to it, its not a worry. Perfect car basically Smile

I looked at a X6 & X5.....Wasnt impressed. I have to agree with the majority of peeps on here. Ive had the TDV8 for 2 years now and its a great motor. It laughs in the face of snow and ice and its a great family waggon to boot Very Happy

To cure the lag, put it into command shift on approach to the junction/roundabout drop it into 1st gear and floor it, upon take off, be prepared to be thrown to the back of your seat. Thumbs Up don't forget to either change up a gear with the command shift or put it straight back into drive, you will surprise a few people at the lights doing this Laughing

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Hi there,

I recently purchased mine (a 2005 TDV6 2.7 Diesel HSE) and decided to get this over a X5. I am also a BMW man through and through (still got one in the garage for track and summer fun). I find my RRS just amazing in every way, it drives just amazingly, has 5h1t load of extras and the looks you get Bow down Very Happy. Mine returns around 23 to 27 MPG which I am happy with. Had it 3 months now and love it.

New to the RRS and after a TDV8

Excuse my ignorance but as a twin turbo does the first Turbo not feed the second Turbo eradicating lag?

As per the 35 BMW engines.

Cheers

First time I drove my old boss's new A6 it was a 2 pedal job and first time he wasnt in the car, I went into a roundabout, went to change down gear and came to a sudden stop in the road!!!

Funny when I look back but for a moment I thought I was going to be wearing the car behind!! Laughing

As far as i'm aware its 2 seperate turbo's of the same size , one for each bank of 4 cylinders in the V8 , where as the BMW 35d engines are straight sixes.

Gone : BMW M6 V10
