Rear entertainment

My car came with headrest monitors and a ps2, I can get it to play a DVD but can't get sound.

It's got Logic 7 with controls on the rea doors, anyone have and answers to the no sound part.
Thumbs Up

Most after market systems use only headphones
Turn on the screens and if tou see some dim red LED at the base of the screen you need some infra red headphones.
If audio is wired to the car 2 ways are common select radio and station search if you hear the dvd memo the frequency
The other way is to wire it to the aux in sometimes at the rear of the centre console or even hinden in the wiring to the radio aux in

Had the same issue and found that the headphones had been muted on the settings screen. The icon with the head shape and headphones on will sort it out.
Either that or you need to ensure you have the rosen infra red headphones and not just wireless headphones as these will not pick up a signal.

Hope this helps in some small way.

have you got an AUX input 3.5mm jack at the back of the arm rest centre console bit ? near the fag lighter and 2 heater outputs

If so plug a blank into it, a 3.5mm jack then switch the radio to AUX should come to life, took me ages to find that little nugget out !

they come with a blank plug that gets lost...... a lot
