Our little terrier, never did grow much bigger, but manages to chase down plenty of rabbits

I have had my springer pup for 3 weeks now,she is a joy to have Very Happy Her tail is docked but is around 6" long so still plenty to wag but she tucks it right under her whilst being trained in the field.Whilst at the vets with her I overheard a conversation regarding a litter of springers and the vet was adamant he wouldn't dock them unless a shotgun certificate or confirmation of shooting rights was poduced,he said he didn't care if they were from gundog stock he wouldn't dock for vanity.

I'll add a picture of her if I can get her to stand still long enough Laughing

That's really good to hear that the vet was sticking to his guns (sorry Embarassed) and not just docking because it had been requested. Thumbs Up

Yes, do get some pictures up. We used to have a Welsh Springer when I was younger, a lovely tempremented dog. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Here's a pic of our two:

Archie is at the front. He's about 1 year old here (15months now). Had just been for his first proper deep water swim, hence being soaking wet!

At the rear is our 14yo Collie, Diz. We've had her since she was about 5yo. She's a rescue dog having been found as a stray and taken to the NCDL (as was). Called Diz as short for Dizzy because she circles when stressed/excited. The tightness of the circle indicates the level of stress. Has been known to grab her tail and spin round on the spot when really going for it! Always goes anti-clockwise too.

SWMBO has done wonders with Diz. When we first got her, she didn't know how to play, was scared of everything and was an expert thief. She is now the proud holder of a Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold award (I think that's what it's called) Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

As said, they are superb pictures by your son Thumbs Up

If I can find/take a decent picture of our Border, I would love something like that done. I'll have a hunt around and PM you if I find something, if that's ok with you Smile
