Bluetooth - I have the phone buttons on my steering wheel...

But no Bluetooth. I don't want a Parrot Bluetooth kit - would rather have the factory fitted Bluetooth so that it connects
to the buttons on my steering wheel. What parts do I need?

Thanks

I thought that cars without bluetooth didnt have the buttons, so if you have the buttons you should have bluetooth.

Have you searched for a bluetooth signal from the car? Cant remember if you need to go into the setting and enable it form the stereo but it might be worth a look. Default Land Rover password is 1212 if i remember correctly.

Thanks for your quick response. I checked my settings and there's nothing about bluetooth mentioned. Think the buttons may have been for a car phone but the car phone wasn't there when I purchased the car. I went from a Mini Cooper to a:

>> Range Rover Sport (HSE)
>> Midnight Blue
>> '06
>> Hawke Grill, Engine Tuning, Exhaust System
>> Sitting in 20s (need to upgrade to 22s - let me know if you have any for sale)
>> Rear DVD screens
>> Full Beige Leather Interior

Talk about the extra room! Jheez!!

England 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

The steering wheel might have been changed before you bought the the sport. So you might not have bluetooth. Think its a dealer job to check the speck of your car. Thumbs Up MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.
Gone MY08 Supercharged HST. Java black. Ivory premium interior. Rear screens. Privacy. Missed a lot.
Gone MY04 Discovery V8 Petrol ES Premium. Awesome.

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black

You will have it if you have steering wheel buttons

you need to press phone button on the dash not the steering wheel, just below radio etc and then scroll to Bluetooth - then "search devices", ask it to search - making sure your handset bluetooth is On
hook it up to your ph with either 2121 or 1212 cant remember which one it is and then you will be OK

Dont listen to the stealers who will tell you that you need a module (they told me that) and I didnt

shows what they know!!!
