Hi guys,

My wife noticed that the door skirt is very loose when she was shutting the door - on the verge of falling off. How do I fix this back on as it doesn't seem to have any screws under it?

Your help would be much appreciated!

If you mean the black plastic trim then it simply clips into place. You can buy clips pretty cheaply from the dealer, or possibly Halfords I think. I think there are a few posts on here if you search for +yellow +clip. The only difficulty is if the black plastic struts that the clips go into are broken on the trim then you either need to replace the trim or get them fixed, and aligned with the holes on the door. All in all a pretty simple job to do. I had a couple of broken struts (I was able to move them on the black trim once off) that I fixed with a bit of duct tape

Thanks for your reply. If you look at the door from the outside, it's the skirting at the bottom of the door that I'm talking about. Is that the same as what your talking about? Can't seem to find any clips on it :/

I mean the big bit of black plastic you can see on the outside at the bottom of the car. Is that what you mean? Perhaps try to take a photo as that may make it clearer?

This topic may help, tried to search for a picture of the black exterior trim but couldn't find it.
