Personal opinion, a thing off of the 80's before a/c became common fit.

I like the sunroof. Usually have it open a little for good air circulation. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Good point VA. Good for circulation however does it not rob you of headroom? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

And if you forget to pull the blind over you sunburn the top of your head with it open! On the plus side, it you have parked the car in the full sun on a hot day opening a crack when the car is parked helps keep the inside a bit cooler - don't know if the alarm is affected by leaving it open though. I don't think it is worth the extra £895. Haven't had one on any car since 1998 and haven't missed it, as all my cars since then have had aircon or climate control.

I must admit I have have had a sun roof in both my previous Freelanders and have never opened them more than a few times, I was just thinking that the interior roof lining looked a bit plain after having a sun roof..... Arrived - RRSport 2016 HSE SDV6 HSE

Go for the sunroof. Apart from everything else, there's far more light in the car even with it closed and the blind open. I actually find the airco sometimes blows too cold, no matter how you set it, and anyway, long journeys with airco = blinding headaches at the end. nuff said! RRS TDV6 (gone)
