They are not winter tyres though are they? I've heard reports they can be quite dangerous in ice and would only be good in fresh snow. I didn't put mine on last winter. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I think ice will knacker you either way. I know what I'll be putting on in November ready for the snow! ============

Yep still the X5. Really happy with it except the fuel costs. I'm not expecting it to be any good in the snow! Have you got a new Supercharged yet ? WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Hello andman I have recently had vredestein wintracs fitted, excellent in snow, and you can use them all year round. cost around £210 a corner. the compound stays flexible even at low temps, and have multiple trade awards and do sell very well across the alps http://www.vredestein.com/Banden_Bandtypes...dtypeID=59 |

Thank you very much.... the two names that kept coming up well recommend were Pirelli scorpion ice and snow.... and Vredestein wintracs...... so it'll be whichever the dealers here can get quickest or have in stock...
