Hi James,l run a busy commercial vehicle bodyshop and we do the occasional car.The problem
the car bodyshops have is they now because of goverment legistratian need to use water based
paint,on average this costs 3or4times what solvent based paints used to cost them.I think a
reasonable cost for what you need doing would be around £350,you could certainly save some
money if you could strip the items off yourself and take them without the car[although they would
at some point need the car to check the colour].Commercial bodyshops on the other hand are exempt
from this bulls..t and are allowed to use solvent products,l could paint the whole side of a Topline Scania
truck for the price I,ve quoted you for your RR stuff.
PS This is a guesstamate factors such as overheads etc will vary the price.

Tomdygym. I need mine done also all round (the bottom plastic parts) side/front & Rear

what would you do to ensure a smooth finish as the platics are not smooth as standard?

£320 ?

you need to use a 2pack filler primer then flatten until smooth,
Remember H&S as these paints are full of isocyanites and best
left to the pros

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Booked in Monday for Front HST grill surround and rear tailgate trim to be colour coded. Wingmirror and doorhandle covers on route as well.

For the time being will leave the lower trims and vents, quite fancy getting the vents sprayed silver to match the Range Rover lettering on the rear (which will also be on the front to replace the gray) and at some stage the lower trim painted black.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the tailgate trim? had a look today and appears to be held by tape? such a pain when you break clips and have to replace the whole item! Range Rover Sport HSE and for a bit of weekend fun a S1 Lotus Elise with a few track biased additions!

Where is best to get door handle covers, smoke side indi and side vents? I'm looking at lrparts.net, but is there any other recommendations?

2nd for powerful uk, their 'how to' clips are very good also. Could try pimp my range, they have a decent selection. Range Rover Sport HSE and for a bit of weekend fun a S1 Lotus Elise with a few track biased additions!
