Vredestein are meant to be a very good tyre i have them on my winter set but in 19" they can be used long after the bad weather has gone, i'd get them soon though before stocks run out like last year, |

Strange thing is I've heard lots of people slag off conti tyres, but we ran em during the really heavy snow last year on the xc90 (cos they came on the vehicle), and we never had a murmur of an issue with them, they were spot on even in the deepest snow.

In my experience, the contis only did 12k miles before they were shot, although like you I ran them last winter at about 5k old, and they were fine in the snow, but tramline and aquaplane heavily in the wet Cheers Dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! I've got Vreds for my D3. Can't speak for the other brands but these were awesome last winter. Would never go back to using "normal" tyres over the winter. Gone: 10MY L320 RR Sport HSE, Ipanema Sand

Just found them at this site and for a good price by the looks of it! This size 275/40/r20 as recommended size in the RRS handbook for a 20" wheel
