I've not driven one but all the reports say that the Disco 4 is a VERY good car. If you can get one of them new for the same price as an 05/06 RRS, I'd be going for the D4 every day of the week. Over here, an 05/06 RRS would be about half the price of a D4. |

C, be interesting to look at what you are spending, to be honest a good 2007 TDv8 for about 66K rather than a SC would be the way to go in Sydney to be honest and I do not think you would be disappointed by its performance. If it as the Nav on the 2007 then all the better Cheers Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

70K will get you a decent TDv8, look for one with extended warranty, the SC badge on a older model will just cost you a whole lot more in maintaining . TDv8 is no slouch and more practical and you most probably will LESS LIKELY not be cursing yourself in 6 months due to expensive bills and running costs Cheers Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

The TDV8 has more torque for towing your boat too, you probably wouldn't notice the boat on the back either |

I had a rrs sc 2006 - great car when its working. It does have dynamic response - its supposed to lean into corners etc. Seems to work quite well.
