Check that the Weights on the wheel have not come off. If they have then you will need re balancing. The squeak might be a stone trapped? Does it feel unsafe to drive? Have you hit any big potholes? The vibrations can be a pain to find. You might need new discs and pads? When were they last changed or have they been? If no joy from this lot then could be a dealer trip. Good luck with it. |

Possibly you have a wheel bearing that is on it's way out? The disappearance of the vibration/noise when you brake is a classic sign of worn bearings.

I had something very similar recently thought it was comming from the front wheels turned out it was the rear diff that needed replacing even the garage thought it was wheel bearing to begin with. |

Not balancing as surely this would happen even when the wheel was straight? Doesn't feel unsafe just annoying. Pads not long been done so shouldn't be that either |

Even the vibration through the wheel? I would have thought that if it was the diff you wouldn't feel it through the steering wheel? |

I have the same problem. Just the squeak on a TDV8. Been a while and have justed booked it in to se if they can resolve it. They did look at it a couple of times and somewaht deglaze or skim the disc I think but it went and returned. Hear it at low speeds and pretty sure it is from the rear right. Goes when I brake as well. Squeak is intermittent. I suspected the wheel bearing but they said no. Anyhow will leave it with them till it is sorted later this month and will tell them to pay attention to the rear diff as well. |
