Wheel refurb and new tyres - which one first?

Hi all, was thinking of getting my alloys refurbished but also need new tyres. Is it best to fit the new tyres then get the wheels refurbished or get the refurb done then replace the tyres? 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant

tyres then refurb, that way the tyre monkeys can not damage the finnish, most refurbs are expeiienced with putting tyres back on carefully, if they dont, they will touch up befor you know it happened. hastle free

Tyre monkeys.? a good tyre fitter does'nt damage alloys if he knows how to use a tyre machine,,,as for the wheel refurb the tyres need to be off & if your painting the wheel the whole lot needs painting no good just pressing the tyre down as the paint will start to flake off after time.

didnt mean any offence V8andy, but most good refurb places have their own fitting equipment. Ive had my alloys scrubbed and dropped on their face. so it is easier to get refurb shop to do it as some remove the tyre, especially if it is powder coated

To be honest i'm not keen on the powder coating,if it gets chipped it's not as easy as paint to just touch up.
