Nowt wrong with the 2.7. Many of the original members here had them because it was the only option apart from the S/C. Yes they were slower than the S/C but they weren't THAT bad. I ran one for nearly 3 years and it seemed to get me from one end of the country to the other perfectly well sat at the speed limit smoothly, quietly and with acceptable economy. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yep, I agree. I had a 2.7 for 2 years and it was a great car. Loads of torque and the performace was fine. OK it wasn't a blistering speed merchant off the line, but my boy racer days are well behind me so I didn't really care whether I could burn off another car at the lights or not. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Good Point AndyCh They are horrible little blighters The best product for keeping them at bay is Avon's Skin So Soft ...... So good that it's what a lot of the Special Forces use rather than other products like Jungle Formula etc. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black 2013 Evoque 5 Door Pure Tech SD4 - Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof (Mrs E's new baby) GONE - RRS - 3.0 TDV6 HSE - Santorini (2010) GONE - RRS - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black (2007) GONE - Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black |
