I had that combo in my first 2005 RRS and initially liked it a lot.

I've got Santorini and Ivory leather and both the outside and inside are high maintenance.

Looks Ok ! I've been toying with one just like that at my local dealer, but with the creamy leather, which has put me off somewhat as I find the cream quite strong on the eye, as for keeping it clean, I've had several cars with light leather and never had an issue with dye transfer from jeans or whatever......except I do have a bad habit of putting biro's in my back pocket !

Not really my cup of tea. I think the combo of the Silver exterior with the Ivory leather is just a bit anaemic. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Thanks Andy, They are quite rare with silver and cream leather - Its a toss up between too bright on the eye/difficult to keep clean and as you say & i agree the 'black hole' of black leather - In between would be good! |

Resale should NEVER be on your mind when buying a car..............buy a car for what you want, not the next person..... |

Yes agreed but I'm money conscious now after losing far too much money on my 7 porkers over the years and one esepcially being difficult to sell with the 'wrong' interior colour. I'm torn between the ivory and ebony leather so either way I don't mind - So if a particular car combo was difficult to re-sale that would help me with my decision - I'm not that rich not to care! |

Ha Ha Ha Ha, my previous forray into the land of Jaguar put me right back on track with an eye to depreciation when making the decision to buy or not to buy ! That stupid thing lost me £250 a week........yes £250, it might not sound much but try earning an extra £250 off the cuff ! I do know a chap who has just dumped £40k on an AMG Merc in 10 months, but he IS loaded...... 08 2.7 RRS "S" Td5 110......very modified RS 5 Kawasaki ZX12R me, it's quick ! |
