United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Hi All, I have just joined so here is my intro Smile
I have owned my Sport HSE for 10 days...I traded in my Nissan GT-R......a very different animal lol! I had my first long trip last Sunday to Derbyshire from Cornwall and I'm very impressed with the 4x4, a smooth ride with all the whistles and bells...not bad on fuel either. Thumbs Up Range Rover Sport HSE, Rimini Red, colour coded.
Self confessed Petrol head.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Hello,

Newbie post here. Just brought home my 2007 TDV8 this afternoon. So far, so wow. Particularly impressed by the active cruise control on the motorway. And the grip / grunt on dual carriageway roundabouts is impressive. Not so sure the brakes are brilliant though - the pedal has a soft, longish feel to the pedal although the brakes do stop the car if asked.

It's in Stornoway Grey/black leather with 20inch alloys and sidesteps for those who are interested in such things. Wink 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Hey Guys,

New Member here in Farnborough Hampshire Smile Just picked up my 2007 Java Black HSE and loving it..! Come from a 2008 Skoda Octavia VRs so its a very different beast! (especially at the fuel pumps tonight - wow it loves a drink!)

Looking forward to learning more about the RRS and also finding out if there are any members in the area and meets etc. I am OCD when it comes to keeping cars clean and I am sure I can help you guys with that over time...

Only done a hundred miles today but a big smile on my face.

Johnny

2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Hello guys my name is Fred and my father is an owner of a 2011 RRS HSE CommandShift TDV6 3.0L, He has only recently attained it as his old car [2007 RRS HSE TDV8 3.6L] was smashed into by Joyriders in a Jaguar [going over 100mph in a 20 zone] whilst he was sleeping. I will probably post pictures of this on a later date. I have passed my test a year ago now and haven't really drove since... I am trying to get put on as a named driver on his company insurance policy, they will allow me to drive all of his vans [and let me put my own car onto the policy] but just not the private cars [his and another range rover vogue] because they are usually insured for only people aged 30+ but on his policy it is 25+ and I am only 18... It is understandable and im probably just going to have to drool in the passenger seat for a few more years sadly, they wouldn't even quote me they just outright said it is impossible [Dixions commercial insurance but insured by AXA] hopefully will be getting my own car soon and work my way up to my dream of an ONYX or Revere RRS.

Looking forward to seeing some amazing cars and all the banter. Drive safe and have fun!

Saying Hi!

Morning Folks, New for the forums so thought I'd say hello! I'm Paul and not yet a RRS owner. I'm losing my company car at the end of October and have been a RRS fan for a couple of years now - so finally I will be taking the plunge and getting one of my own. October cant come soon enough! I'm getting very envious!

Currently looking at the market for a 07/08 plate TDV6 HSE in Java Black / Stornoway Grey with < 50k miles, though my budget might extend to on 09 plate depending on the missis Smile

Hoping your years of experience can help me make sure my first forray into owning a RRS is informed as it can be!

Thanks in advance

Paul

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
First post - Hi

Hi, pop the cherry with an easy hello to everyone. I am the proud owner of a 2010 facelift 3.6v8, she is in grey. Previously had an x5, wanted something a bit more agressive, thinks thats the right term..... Anyway the v8 delivers beyond expectations, really eats up the road so hi from me, looking Foward to picking up some decent banter and advice along my way. Peace

Hello

Hello,

I'm Boost, owned my RRS for 6 months now, previously had a Disco 1 & TD5, wanted a RRS since they came out, then had a moment of madness and bought one Very Happy

Very happy with it, just getting ready to drag caravan around the lake district on holiday with it.

1st week of owning it the batttery went flat, turned out to be the rear boot lid switch (full of water) changed it for a little push to make switch I had kicking about from a little project. Been OK since.

I took the old TD5 off roading with http://www.roguepirates4x4.co.uk/ just tried to find a video of me off roading but cannot seem to find it! I'll post it later if it comes to light.

I plan to go off roading with the RRS but don't want to damage it too much (should I say at all!) Do you organise any gentle events?

Cheers...........Boost

Hi folks, another newbie here.
I'm a long term RR fan, though currently not an owner

As a kid my parents had an early 3 door Range Rover and I've had a soft spot for them ever since.
Really like the look of the new Evoque but I prefare RRS.

Hi folks,

Get my first RRS on Wednesday. Changing from a Suzuki GV which was great off road and in the snow - hoping the RRS will be even better.
