Leave it in drive......in fact whatever makes you happy...either works fine |

I either put it in P or put it in N and apply the handbrake, don't put it in N then leave your foot on the brake, it will eventually burn out the solenoid that recognizes you have put it in N |

By doing that andy i feel that one is working against the other, and over a period of time that can't be good. |

I always put it in N and apply handbrake. |

For short stop starts I just apply the hand brake, but longer stopping I put it in neutral then handbrake |

Don't think i have used the handbrake on mine since the day i got it. If sitting in traffic i will knock it into N |

Gearbox oil temperature will rise if its in-gear and stationary for more than 10 minutes. Stick it in neutral, put hand brake on if its going to be a few minutes. |
