United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Autobiography

As discussed in a previous thread I am considering buying a 2010MY RRS for £40k and putting on an A/B kit.

I am doing this as I love the look of the A/B but cant afford one! Although I am doing this to please myself and not trying to pass my car off as a genuine A/B would the car be worth anymore on resale?
Basically I am trying to gauge if the £4k is burning cash Big Cry It is after all a genuine LR kit not an aftermarket like Kahn etc.

I am surprised I have not seen an HSE for resale with an A/B kit on already but perhaps being pretty new (and expensive) someone hasnt spent the £4k to resell it just yet.

Any other forum members done this yet?

Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion the AB looks soooooooooo much better (that's why I bought one Mr. Green ), but half the charm is the awesome interior.

I think realistically if you spend 4K on the kit, it will add 1K when you re-sell, but don't do it to add re-sale value, do it to make it what you want while you have it Thumbs Up

I think if you want to start somewhere the AB front grille is a big improvement on its own and I would imagine only a few hundred quid. Thumbs Up

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I'm puzzled at why you'd do that to such an old/high mileage motor?

Fair enough put it on a 2010 car... but a 2005 100k TDV6? wow... big gamble

I love the AB bodykit idea as per OP's 1st comment BTW RRS gone

JF - i dont doubt your valuation of perhaps £1k more but right now I would pay an additional £3k premium if I could locate an HSE with an A/B kit Thumbs Up

From experience if you dont receive a premium on mods (tasteful ones i might add) it always makes it much easier to sell against the standard models. I too understand that some people might like the standard cars before someone hoses me Wink

The AB kit is not likely to put off any potential buyer though, 90% would agree it is an enhancement.....its not like Kahn/revere/Strut that is personal tase and 80% would probably rather have a basic RRS.

We sold this one for £53,000 which was 3 months old and 5,000 miles. The kit was a factory option as opposed to the dealer fit item. The pictures may be of interest to you?
