Soon to be new owner, small problem with stereo LCD

I've left a deposit on a 2006 TDV6 HSE, they are fixing a kerbed alloy and a couple of stonechips but the other thing was the small LCD display on the stereo had some sort of blobs on it, you could still read the writing etc but it just doesn't look all that good, they said they would try and fix it before I collect the car but have called to say that they can't and have offered me a set of 20 inch Stormer alloys with new tyres to replace the wheels it has on(the same as the ones in the picture at the top of the page), my main question is how hard is it to sort out the small LCD display and is it expensive?, as I'm tempted by the alloys but am thinking about asking for money off to get the screen repaired instead, does anyone know how much it would cost and the best place to take it?.

Thanks for that, they had a couple of other RR Sports there so I might ask them to swap the units over.
