It will never give you a true reading unless you have it calibrated also what size tyres do you have it on ? WHen I borrowed Ady555 road angel it was 2mph out on mine. Smile

by law your speedo cannot under read eg when you are doing 30 actual it cannot tell you your indicated speed is 29.9.

So to ensure they dont, they all over read by design - so when you are doing 30 actual your indicated speed might be 32mph

by what margin you actual speed and indicated speed differs depends, but it will be in your favour in std set up

Before someone mentions GPS speed - these are also not accurate in most consumer models - yes they are more accurate than your speedo in the majority of cases (less each technologic development year) but still not accurate; due to various ways a gps works...professional GPS's are a different story Mike

My road angel vantage is spot on with a few roadside digital speed checks, also a police roadside radar gun and is spot on with my speedo with 285/35/22" wheels and tyre combo, so i'm very confident my speed is correct Thumbs Up

I would be very surprise at that none of our 4 current cars, 4 GPS's are - nor to my portable aviation GPS - which is more accurate than all of the prior.

What you might fine is you 22" wheels have removed some of the inbuilt error, so your actual speed is now similar to your indicated speed...which is you think sensibly isnt the thing you want; as your margin for error is decreased. Mike

Yes you are probably right, i only ever use my road angel as my speedo which is easier to see where ive positioned it on my dash
