Just joined after getting an RRS 3.6 HST, Stornoway Grey. It has followed on from my Phoenix Yellow M3 which I loved to bits and had for longer (40 months) than any car I have had before. Fancied a complete change and also need to get off road a bit for my work. Must say I really like the HST and it is certainly a contrast to the PY M3.

Afternoon all................another RRS owner, picking it up on weds, 2.7 08 plate, coming back to the green oval after an horrendous year with the leaping cat !

Been and got an 08 S spec 2.7 (no DPF's) !!!!! in Zambezi, getting some teasing about it being "poverty spec" but hell it's got front & rear park sensors leccy adjust and heated seats, A/C........what more d'ya need ?????? gone off leather - burnt legs too many times...........lets hope all goes well !

It's goodbye to my P38 4.0 and hello to a TDV8. Had it for 2 weeks and trully impressed (especially when towing my 1700kg caravan this last weekend).
Came across the site whilst Googling Sport front suspension faults and voila, a whole thread full! Glad it isn't a defective shocker as I first thought.
Looking forward to browsing the whole site in the next few weeks - good to see that there is an interest out there to pursue and report problems and remedies.

Thought I'd jump in and say hi, just picked up my first RRS, supercharged HST, on 22'' overfinch supersports.

Love the car just getting used to it, as been in M's for last 10 years, most recently ( still here till sat ) ! M3 CSL, im also a moderator over on the CSLregister, decided to have a big change and wanted a RR for ages, so decided to get something I could not compare the CSL too

Anyway, live in reading, work in london and might be asking some dumb questions in the next few weeks, so I will apologise in advance

Hi I have just joined this Forum with the hope that someone can assist me. I have a 2005 (sept) 2.7 HSE RRS and the interior dash light for parking assist is flashing all the time (unless i turn it off) The parking sensor does not work any more since the light stated flashing (before the light started to flash I had a higher pitch tone when parking, but at least the assist did work) I booked the car in to land Rover and they confirmed that after all tests that the module was to fault.(sensors OK) (the module in the car is YWC 500312. I ordered a new module and fitted it but the problem still exists (park assist does not work and light still flashing) Does the new module have to be set via a computer?? Is there a trick or method of installing the module that requires a "reset" ?? If it should work could I have maybe the wrong module? RRS 2.7 diesel 09/2005
(Landrover said it should be the module YWC 500730?? but thats not the one in my car and is there a difference anyway) Thanks for any help
