Sorry to hear that Foxy!

I see something similar few years ago happening to the poor woman in a car in front of me outside a pub along Southend seafront late one evening. A guy stopped her car by stepping of the pavment and standing in front of it, two other guys that were sitting outside the pub ran over and tried to open the door, it was locked luckly. The poor woman inside god only knows what was going throw her head? At the time I was driving a beaten up old Toyota Hi Lux 4X4 I pulled out from behind her hit the horn put my foot down and aimed my truck at the guys trying to open the doors needless to say they ran for their lives screeming like a couple of school girls! Just as well because I wasn't stopping! The two coppers that were standing just across the road then decided to make their presents known and walk over to see if she was ok! The story ends well the lady was ok after a strong cup of tea supplied by a chippy just along the way. But not before one of the coppers told me that if I'd hit & killed those guys I'd have been looking at quite a few years inside! Justice eh!

Anyway sorry to her of that – glad your ok now! Cheers Laurence.

Hey Foxy
I'm a 6'2" very broad cop and still drive with my doors locked and windows up in certain areas, it's just not worth the hassle these days!
And if it gets warm I siply turn up the AC.

The important thing is you are ok, sod the wheel!

Sorry to hear that, it happend to me a few years ago too in Liverpool on my way to Aintree with a car load of policemen.
We were looking at positions to put CCTV cameras in the town centre and we had stopped at a set of traffic lights when this "scrote" opened the back door of my Lamdcruiser and stole what he could reach, it was only a phono to BNC connector but he took it from a police inspector and the lad was last seen running at great speed down a side street.

Daz: where were you when I needed a cop. The one they sent me looked about 17 and I've seen more meat literally on a butchers pencil. Although he did comment on how clean my car was. Thumbs Up

The best thing was he asked me if the street had CCTV ...... Whistle Smile

Couldnt agree more.

Work bag always in the boot, windows always up, climate control on when required, doors locked - its the only way.

Auto lock on driving aswell. Mike

Cheers nick. I NORMALLY park in the Light especially if im on a night out. But I was only going to nip into Caluccios to get some bits from the deli, hence the parking spot right outside it on Greek Street.
Ive been driving through Leeds today with my little foxcub and the bikes and the windows were all up and the anti hijack lock is programmed on. Foxcub is obsessed with safety so i wasnt allowed to open the window at any point.

Such scumbags ! Smile

That's OK in South Africa but can you imagine how much gas you would have to have on board to drive through Chapeltown or Manningham on a regular basis Rolling with laughter
I went to do a little "job" in Georgetown Guyana a few years ago for the family of the spiritual leader of the Guyanan Muslim population who was the right hand man of The President. His daugher told me how she was driving down the road with her window open when a guy reached in and tried to wrench the gold necklace from around her neck, she bit into his hand and took all the flesh in between his thumb and forefinger before he let go.
Since then she has had an old army officers revolver in the door pocket and when she took me back to the airport and went through customs with it in her handbag which was fun listening to the subsequent "discussion" with a young security guard who didn't recognise her Whistle MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.
