2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Range Rover Sport Suspension Fault, Code C1A00

Great Site Guys!

Hi all sorry if this question has been addresssed before I am new to this site and havent been able to find my answer.

I have a 2006 Range Rover Sport, 2.7tdv6.

Today the Dynamic Driving Warning light came on whilst doing 30mph on tarmac, the amber light, (Wobely land rover light) after I went over 60mph it went red and stated max speed 30mph.

It doesnt reset when I cycle the igntion.

Does anybody know what causesd this.

I have borrowed a friends Launch x431 Scan tool and under the menu Ride Level Control Module, Its coming up only with Fault code C1A00 Control Module.

Other control modules are also reporting less of communication with the same control module.

The vehicle seems to be stuck in highway mode.

The nav 4x4 screen states highways mode and the right hand side of the screen with the 4 wheels show nothing but the 4 wheesls.

Anybody able to help me out with my problem.

Thanks guys in advance..

Stu

Your fault code is incomplete.
There are additional number(s) and/or alphabets at the end, however, they all point to some problems/faults with the Vehicle Dynamic Suspension Control Module.

I would suggest using a proper LR Diagnostic Tool to help. Malaysia Boleh!

Thanks I'll have this looked at.

Is the module coded?

Can I buy a 2nd hand one and fit that?

Do you know where the module is located?

Don't jump the gun. It is not necessary the module is kaput.
There could be other reasons like battery low voltage, control valve short circuit, water ingress etc.
Best to let a proper LR technician to look at it with a diagnostic tool. Malaysia Boleh!

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HST Firenze Red

I changed the drier kit on my compressor and the car worked fine for about 20 mins and then started the same problem spend ion fault.
I then changed the the compressor and all wax ok fir about threedays and then all the lights and faults came on in red and would not allow me to drive any faster than 30mph.
The fault all along was a alternator because I changed the battery at the she time as the compressor the cafe had been running in the battery power and this wasalso cooked because of th alternator.
Have your alternator checked out first.
