There was nothing really wrong with it Chris, but my wife had a real scare in it the week after we got it when somebody bumped her and she was never really happy or comfortable driving it again, so just bit the bullet and got rid.

If you are coming from an Audi diesel estate the 2.7 would be fine but listen to a man who has just done it, coming from the M3 you will be bored in 2 seconds with the it

My 2.7 ive got is re-mapped, and really needs to be, not just for speed but for how it delivers the power, it picks up so much better and feels so much smoother, but my next one will be the new 3.0 SD V6, Like you say you really need to take a test drive, if you have always had sports cars, it takes some getting out of your system but you will definitely enjoy the ride of the RRS. If you don't like the RRS experience then at least you can cross it off your car list.

Mine is remapped, and I mostly do B road driving and I average just under 23mpg which is good. If I reset the computer and blast it around for a few days that goes to 16mpg but I dont do that all the time Range on a tank is nearly 400 miles and it does do that so I'm happy Insurance is very cheap for me, I actually got a couple of hundred quid back when I switched from the E92 M3 I'm hoping to be paying around £600 come renewal in July, I'm 33 and live in the sticks |

My 2.7 was mapped...and I didn't know it until I drove someone else's and also found mine had better pick up than a V8.....mine flew....but past 100 (kph of course) it became rather asthmatic..... |

Better pick up than the V8? It must have been chipped to within an inch of its life |

Bottom line then when buying a 2.7 is to remap it? How much does that cost and whats the extra bhp?..15-20? |
