Thanks for quick reply. I suppose speed was not going to the biggest thing compared to the M3 but love the look of the rrs. What are the service maintenance costs? Do you use specialist or dealer? If you are buying used what to lool out for?Any regrets? Csl is lovely. |

CSL was great, had it for 2 years, but sold it for a 911 and regretted it every day

Budget Will be around the 20k I would think for what you asked give a take, don't be put off a 2.7 mines plenty quick enough and speed isn't what you really buy a 2.5T vehicle for I've found myself driving everywhere a lot slower since I got the car. It's a nice place to be cruising around. |

A remapped 2.7 could give you a bit more go maybe? |

Running the m3 is ridiculous so anything that beats 18.2mpg would be great. I didnt know you could remap the 2.7.

There is also the excellent v8 diesel. A nice compromise between the 2.7 oil burner and the 4.2 sc. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I'm about to change my lovely XKR Cab and e46 330 Sport Tourer for an RRS SC and a Boxster S. I used to have a TDV8 which I loved and which had great mid range performance and I also loved the 'snarl' of the engine. I do relatively low mileage and therefore an older SC seems to make more sense for me, and it feels at £20kish that the depreciation curve should be flattening off. Funnily enough as I wait to change the cars over later this week, it's the RRS rather than the Boxster that I'm most looking forward to getting in to, and I've spent hours reviewing this forum! Also I like the fact that there are lots of subtle styling tweaks that I can make to stay interested - interior leds, led rear lights, clear side lights, chrome mirrors, etc.... |
