This picture was taken when the fuel tank sensors was bad, it turns on and off when he want, not when needed, for example, i have pictures that i show to the dealer with as low as 7 km with light off (after been on when higher range). Now it glows up more or less at 40 km...thats is very very low mileage to zero, but at least they are always forty km solid, not on-off-on-off. When you reach 0 km of range it "drinks" 75 litres aprox. (tested), so you have until the end of 82 liters, 7 liters of range, so more or less 80 km at soft drive style. I know by the chief mechannic of the dealer that when lr4 and rrs 10 up goes out of fuel or more specifically: very low, they simulates to be out of fuel, and that they never runs "dry", this is very good for our fuel system and pumps that will not wear when out of fuel happens.

(Sorry for my english...i expect you understand me all I say Rolling Eyes, please tell me if im clear )

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

hey CUCO, your English is no problem! my sensor seems to read accurately at other times, I log when i put fuel in and how much and it seems to reflect okay. My problem is the low fuel light only illuminates at 20 miles (19 actually). I think i'll get it checked out. ============

Mine comes on at 25 miles - not enough warning on some of the roads I use - especially with the caravan on Embarassed

Doas all the rrs and lrd have the 30 miles limit to iluminate the reserve on light? As some of ours think: its a very low limit!!! Not enough gas! In my case i do a lot of kilometres and i travel always at night...when the petrol stations are closed in a vast mayority, how we can elevate this limit! Anyone knows?
