HANDBRAKE SCREECH

Hi my handbrake make an awfull sound when applied (screeching), what can i do to fix this myself never fixed an auto handbrake before Smile 2006 RR SPORT TDV6 HSE SILVER 22 STORMERS RUNNING BOARDS FULLY COLOUR CODED WIND DEFLECTORS CHROME MIRRORS WINDOW TINTS

Assuming it's not just a stone caught in the caliper, it's a common problem with the electronic brake. If you really want to do it yourself, download and read this guide.

Alternatively, take it to your dealer and ask them to adjust it - should be around an hour's labour.

Until fixed, try not to use it, as you'll eventually knacker it and the bill will then include parts!

What the good Doctor said.

This happened to mine a month ago. Overrun on the fixing screw, fixed in about an hour for £60.00! SDV6 HSE Sport2 - Santorini Black, Ebony Interior, Pano Roof, Things I haven't found yet!

TDV6 HSE, Java Black, Black Premium Leather, Privacy, LR Side Steps, Smoked Side Repeaters, SC Vents and lots of toys!
