I've always thought there's a market for a number plate that's actually an LCD strip - you have a little PCB which has an embedded number plate generator on it and your number plate changes every 15 secs. They'd even be SPECS-proof.

Nah ST.. im not saying this is the reason you've had ur plates cloned.. it was probably bad luck.. your car was in the wrong place at the wrong time when the guys who created the clone saw you're car.. But i remember discussing this issue with a couple of guys in the earlier days of this forum, and since then its become practice really to white/yellow out number plates on pics.. if someone is looking to clone an RRS where better then the RRSport owners site to come and get the relevant info from? I don't show my plates on any forum i visit, and am surprised when people show off their plates in full.. might not cause an issue, but you never know who's looking! |
