Range Rover Crashes:

Some are funny, then others are life changing-ly not. Makes you realise that cars especially as big as ours, are a license to kill.

Some mad crashes - but all i would say, i would rather be in a range rover as one of the safest cars on the road than a ford focus or similar Mike

*83 year old man drove his car off the 2nd story of a parking garage. The car landed on its roof, but the driver was able to walk away relatively unhurt. He probably pressed the gas instead of the brakes*

People that age shouldn't even be driving. Don't want to offend anyone but when people reach 70 they shouldn't be allowed to drive. I mean how can you press the wrong pedal, and surely he would take his foot off? And another...

*Driver got shot multiple times...* Wait, wait, wait. How did he get shot? No doubt probably a drug baron.

Some made me laugh, others I wanted to cry.

great to laugh at (even though I guess we shouldn't)

Re the banning of 70 year old drivers - at my golf club there are loads of guys of 70 who can still wack their balls well over 230yds accurately and walk 18 holes !!

When you are 70 (and fit and well I hope) living your country pile without a bus service I wonder if you'll think the same ? - best get yourself a driver.

In no way did I want to offend, but it's my opinion. I don't mean when they get to 70 their car is crushed and they're banned, but every 6 months to a year they should get tested to see if they're fit to drive. I don't stick to the speed limit and but even if there is a freak accident I won't be able to stop it, but it's common knowledge that the older you get the slower you can respond to things.

this is a 29 yr old driving a RRS

http://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/news/archi..._near_Box/

Sure over 70's make mistakes, not as quick to re act but this guy was running late, and didn't give a rats arse for any user on the road. Most of this elderly incidents you read about only effect themselves and rarely cause fatalaties to others. A long way off 70 but got confused the other night in strange location ended up going round corner wrong side as thought it was one system. Lucky late at night no traffic around and doubt if in busy time would of made that mistake due to seeing other traffic movemnts.

Ban all those under 60 from driving I say, it would be a much safer place

Now now: think it gies to show that no matter what age we all are there are still accidents. I had my first FFRR at 25. It's about driving correctly we are all guilty of speeding at times, I don't care what people say.

Just thought that sometimes we needed to be reminded that driving our super safe cars can sometimes go super wrong. REGARDLESS OF AGE or GENDER

I'm with foxy...I don't buy the age thing either way. Let's draw some comparisons to 40 something Audi or BMW driving cocks...

At 25 my speed kicks came from planes...cars just don't go fast enough Whistle Mike
