I don't know who was more disappointed, me or the sales guy.

Why the cancellation?

I drove the top end Freelander demonstrator to see what the 190bhp engine was like.

.... and clearly I am spoilt by the RRS ......

just no life; no fun; hugely disappointing and, in my honest opinion, not worthy of the Range Rover brand.

I then went out in the TDV8 RRS and the new V6. Thats how a diesel should be; not the puny 4 pot that is in the Freelander. It has a place, but not in the RR surely?

Perhaapos one day they will bring out larger engines because the car looks stunning.

As I say, really disappointed as it was all specced up and ordered with a september build slot .......

The V8 is here to stay !

It may be the same engine in the Freeloader 2, but i'm guessing with the driving dynamics and sportier setup it will {at least} feel quicker

45 others have been and gone!

That surprises me, I took out my Mum's 59 plate FL2 last week and was quite impressed with it's go... yeas not the torque oomph of the V6 or V8 but plenty nippy enough...

Has the 190 engine become a revier engine with less low down grunt? RRS gone

Think most will be happy with this engine,but compared to a SC sure it will feel tame. Hey but look at the mpg then compare again. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.
