Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange
New toy on the way...

Well finally going own one of my dream Landies Very Happy

Within the next week or so I'm buying a 110 V8, yes V8 Defender Cool , either a SW with a twin carb 3.9l, 2" lift, AC, 4 individual seats, winch, and full external rollcage in silver or a Dbl cab in black with long range tank, fridge for beer, water tank with pump, 2" lift, 3.9l EFi, AC, Roll cage, 4 individual seats, winch etc....

Guess which I'm going for???? Whistle

And then time to start messing around with a Defender again Smile I'm thinking Viper Green (a la VW Scirocco) with black wheel arches, roof, bumpers etc and a bit of re-apolstering inside to start with...

Cheers

You do know the current mini wasnt designed by BMW dont you?? it was a replacement for the original mini that BMW took from the rover sale - Rover had been working on the current mini version from ISTR 96, but possibly earlier!

Defenders are cool - but RRS are cooler (said he who has just got rid of his puma defender for a sport).

The best defender i owned was my v8 90 - i still miss that Mike

The current model (hatchback since 2006, convertible since 2009 and all Clubman, and Countryman) are BMW designed and engineered. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

I cant tell you they werent Martin, well maybe the latest countryman and 4x4 - but then the still stole the desing and i grant that they may have been redesigned. But my father in law (before he died) was one of the team designing them and we have photos of the posters up in my brother in laws bed room!! when BMW were a twinkle in the eye of owning rover Thumbs Up

Funny how many people dont realise, all bmw wanted to do was take the best bits of both rover and land rover Mike
