Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Will this still work if I swap my 20" wheels to 22" Overfinch?

Only if the Overfinches also have the TPMS bits fitted to the rims, otherwise you will have a permanent warning light on the dash 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I don't fancy that!

Is it possible to retro-fit these bits?

Yep, I fitted a second set of TPMS sensors to my 19" wheels €35 each for the sensors and they replace the valve stem. but you better check that the sensor fits inside the Overfinch wheels as it depends on where the valve stem hole and how big it is. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Just had phone call from dealer......apparently I cannot put the Overfinch tigers on because the pressure monitoring system will not work......he says they are machined into the wheel!

Might be an idea to get the dealer to plug the car into his system and disable the TPMS then, at least you won't have chimes and warning lights all the time - you might be able to twist his arm for a free tyre pressure gauge too! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2 options now, 4x4 tyres are saying they can supply and fit monitors, or.......just cancel the TPMS all together

Since ordering my new car with TPMS I'm having 2nd thoughts about it now, problem is my new car doesn't have a spare wheel at all, just a can of squirty stuff that apparently can fix a slashed tyre Rolling with laughter 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have TPMS on my MY2011 which works fine with the original wheels, and when I put different wheels on (winter tyres) I do not get a permanent warning. On start-up it just flashes a warning notice for a few seconds saying TPMS not working with no permanent warning light on the dash.
