I would have taken it straight to the dealers and forget LR assist unless its raining, sit there till they have fixed it. |

Thanks but not really an option. Can't get car booked in for 7 days so if it rains! |

I had that - the right one needless to say, and in rain whilst in hurray (radio/tv interviews)believe it or not..

Thanks to everyone who replied. So I called LR Assistance, the guy turns up and tells me he has had a few 2011 cars with the same problem. Basically the cars left the factory with the bolt not tightened enough! Fixes it in 2 seconds and apologises on behalf of LR saying its very embarrasing. WOW - you spend all this money on a brand new car (which I am generally very impressed with) and they make such a simple error. Oh well, at least it was nothing serious! |
